USDGA strives to promote the durum industry through engagement in policy and communication.

Durum Kernel E-Update

Every month USDGA produces a monthly electronic update for members. Topics include relevant policy and policy USDGA has been involved in, articles on production and promotion, and any events coming up.

During the ND bi-annual Legislative Session, USDGA produces weekly legislative updates in addition to the E-updates.

Crop Outlook & International Durum Forum

Each November, USDGA, North Dakota Wheat Commission, and the Northern Canola Growers Association host the Crop Outlook and International Durum Forum which showcases speakers and panel discussions that focus on the durum industry and production. USDGA publishes a printed newsletter once a year featuring the Crop Outlook & International Durum Forum, board of directors update, and other USDGA pertinent information. Click here to read the latest version.

National Pasta Association

The National Pasta Association (NPA) provides leadership to the pasta industry on public policy issues. NPA forges alliances with key organizations, monitors and addresses technical issues, and organizes events and seminars for the industry. NPA's goals are to increase the consumption of pasta, to promote the development of sound public policy, and act as a center of knowledge for the industry. Click here to learn more.

Scholarships

USDGA annually awards (2) $1,000 scholarships to college students from durum producing states who are involved in the durum industry. Applications are accepted from August 1- October 15 each year. Click here to learn more.
